As a diocese we believe everyone is called by God to be a follower of Jesus.
Like Jesus’ first followers we are born into different contexts, have different gifts and serve different communities. The Vocations and Training Team (V&T Team) is here to support you in exploring and developing God’s purposes for you.
For many people, ministry will be outside of the Church in the community, and we recognise the importance of this work and aim to encourage all those serving Christ in their communities. Please do check out the training button below for more opportunities to grow and develop in your faith.
The V&T team work across different areas:
- exploring and discerning vocations within Church contexts
- supporting those in the diocese who aim to encourage vocation in their Parish/context
- supporting clergy and lay ministers by encouraging investment in their professional development and personal wellbeing
- offering training opportunities for all who wish to grow in their faith and personal gifts and interests
