We are seeking a prayerful and compassionate Priest in Charge (Vicar Designate) to lead and inspire us as we grow in faith, deepen our spiritual life, and share God’s love in our villages and beyond.
All Saints and St Stephen’s are friendly, welcoming churches with a desire to strengthen our biblical teaching, enrich our prayer life, and encourage people of all ages in their journey with Christ. We hope for a Priest in Charge (Vicar Designate) who will guide and support us as we serve the wider community and reach out with warmth and inclusivity.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is approachable, reflective, and spiritually grounded.
- Preaches the gospel with clarity and conviction.
- Nurtures both personal faith and church life.
- Enjoys engaging with young people and families.
- Values tradition while exploring new forms of worship.
Our churches have strong ties with local schools and community groups, and we are keen to build on these relationships. We hope our new Priest in Charge (Vicar Designate) will be a visible and welcoming presence - pastorally caring and genuinely invested in village life.

All applicants should normally have 3 years’ experience in the Church of England or another Anglican church in the British Isles.
