The Diocese of Lichfield has partnered with the Church of England’s National Giving Team to offer a new free to access online learning tool called Cornerstone. Cornerstone helps churches to understand and improve their finances, their giving practice and their culture of generosity.
Insights is a data dashboard bespoke to the church collated from parish data, allowing churches to view a detailed picture of their financial situation.
Pathways provide step by step project guides to help churches to focus on most relevant to them, providing easy to follow templates and tools making planning a little easier.
Additionally, the Cornerstone platform provides a grants database which gives parishes access to a free live database of 600 grants selected by the Church of England. This allows churches to see what is available for their up and comming projects and provides guidance when applying.
