Building Partnerships through Welcome Spaces

This session is for existing Places of Welcome or community initiatives that might want to extend their offer and are looking to partner with other organisations, charities, or support services to do this, or who simply want to build their community connections so that more people know about the community group that they offer. This session gives practical examples, hints and tips, based on experience of what has worked, and what has not worked, for Lichfield Diocese’s Community Development Officer, Carrie Blount.

This one-hour, informal workshop covers:

• Why it is important to build community partnerships
• How to identify your community partners and how to connect with them
• Hints and tips for success
• Challenges and how to overcome them
