Are you a priest with a pastor’s heart, a collaborative spirit, and a vision for rural mission? In the Benefice of Chebsey with Norton Bridge, Ellenhall, Ranton and Seighford with Creswell you will find four warm, welcoming rural parishes in beautiful countryside, just minutes from Stafford and Junction 14 of the M6. We are rooted in our communities and committed to growth.
We are looking for someone who will:
- Lead us in growing spiritually and numerically.
- Encourage and develop lay ministry and participation.
- Build on relationships with our two Church schools.
- Help us work together effectively.
- Bring fresh ideas for worship and mission.
We currently worship together as one congregation each Sunday, and connect with the wider community through events, schools, pastoral ministry, and “Prayer and a Pint”.
If you are passionate about rural ministry and feel called to help villages and churches grow together in faith, might God be calling you to join us in the next phase of our mission and ministry together?
All applicants should normally have 3 years’ experience in the Church of England or another Anglican church in the British Isles.
