A day especially for Parish Safeguarding Officers, and those fulfilling that role, to come together, to share good practice, to get answers from the safeguarding and admin teams and to learn from amazing speakers. Come with your questions for the Q&A session.
Keynote speaker: Sally Hope
Writer, trainer and recovery practitioner, Sally Hope is the author of Always Hopeful, an eleven week recovery programme for Christian women who have experienced Domestic Abuse. A survivor herself, Sally now trains others to deliver Always Hopeful as well as writing books, recovery resources, and articles for publications such as The Church Times about issues related to faith, feminism and domestic abuse. Her books 30 Steps to Finding Yourself and No Visible Scars.
